Phasmatodea: Catalogue

This catalogue is and will be under construction as long as phasmids are described. It contains all species of Phasmatodea described to date. The entries provide information on the valid name, systematic position, sources of the descriptions, distribution, synonyms, originally published type data, type label data and museum deposals. You can also sort for all species of a country or all types of a museum.
Pictures of types, eggs and additional specimens are included.
The list is mainly made for enthusiasts and professionals with a certain knowledge in this order. So, if you look for a special species, better look for the specific name instead of the genus.
The systematic position is only exactly mentioned when it is definitely known, because the phylogeny of the stick insects is still not sufficently researched.
